This week the staff at Pentland spent some time taking part in a festive activity - making Mince Pies! We put 4 of our units to the test, and we've got to say they cooked, mixed and baked the Mince Pies to perfection🥧

We started by combining the ingredients for mince meat in a pan and cooking them together, with the help of the Blizzard BSPIH induction hob. There was no waiting around for the hob to heat up as the BSPIH gets up to optimum temperature quickly and efficiently, alongside this the LED touchscreen control panel allows for quick temperature changes whenever needed.

Then it was time to make the pastry using the FMX10 Planetary Mixer, we used the beater attachment to combine the butter and flour before removing the bowl and using our hands to finish it off. Coming with a wire whisk, dough hook and beater as well as having a lever-operated bowl lift, bowl guard and safety stop function as standard, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more versatile mixer anywhere else.

The HBC2 came in very handy when it came time to assemble them, the refrigerated counter comes with a stainless steel construction, heavy-duty castors as well as a sturdy work surface for all your preparation needs!

Next up was the BCO1 Convection Oven, used to bake the mince pies to absolute perfection! A fantastic addition to any kitchen, this oven features an internal light, a manual thermostat and a timer that automatically turns the appliance off when it's finished cooking.

We had a great time using the units instead of selling them, for a change. Plus, our staff got to enjoy a festive Friday treat!
